Only the ice ones can be tamed, taming the lava ones is a bug from my knowledge. The "lava golems" are X-rock elementals, so you can but it takes x3 the usual cannon shots. I use a velo to kill the lava golem. 2.im not sure. i know when it starts it does dectect how many players are fighting it though. but that may be used to determine the level of the golem. If you want to kill a golem, aim for anything you want, but not the head : it will take less damage, but its torpor will rise. The Lava Elemental cannot be tamed. This is why aiming for its head will be a waste of time. Please keep in mind that i am saying that assuming it just differs from Rock Elementals by being untameable.
